Scaffold Shrinkwrap was founded on the principles of hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence. Our story begins with Rennie Valdez, a proud native of Trinidad & Tobago, who started his career as a scaffold builder for a prestigious scaffolding company in Trinidad. Seeking greater opportunities, he moved to Florida in 2001 with his family and quickly established himself in the industry.
Rennie began working at Brand Scaffold Company as a scaffold builder and, through dedication and skill, rose to the position of General Superintendent within three years. In 2005, he was offered a managerial role at Scaffolding Tools & Equipment, where he continued to build his expertise and reputation. When the company transitioned to P & H Scaffolding in 2008, he remained a key leader until its closure in 2012. Faced with uncertainty, Rennie saw an opportunity to take control of his future and bring his vision to life.
With just $5,000, a single truck, and a team of five, he founded Scaffold Shrinkwrap. Leveraging the trust and relationships he had built over the years; he secured contracts with leading companies in the commercial and marine industries.
