Rennie Valdez was born and raised on the island of Trinidad & Tobago. He worked as a scaffold builder for a prestigious Scaffold Company in Trinidad. In 2001, Rennie moved to Florida along with his family for a better opportunity. He landed a job at Brand Scaffold Company as a scaffold builder and skillfully worked his way up as the General Superintendent of the company. He worked diligently at the company for 3 years.
In 2005 Rennie was offered a better opportunity at a different company, Scaffolding Tools & Equipment. He received a phone call from the owner of the company offering him a Managerial position. In 2008 Scaffolding Tools & Equipment became P & H Scaffolding under new ownership but Rennie held is position at the company for 4 years. Unfortunately, due to financial reasons the company had to close their doors to business. In 2012, Rennie was stuck with bills, a family to feed and loss of hope. He knew now that he had to follow his dreams.
He began his business, Scaffold Shrinkwrap with five thousand dollars, one truck and 5 employees. Working at his previous employers he gained his clients’ trust and used that reputation to get contracts from well-established companies like KHS&S, Pinmar, C&N, Luu Marine and Lotspeich.
The company have had remarkable growth from the beginning.
